With your help, Galapagos Conservation Trust in collaboration with partners including the Charles Darwin Foundation and the Galapagos National Park Directorate, is using cutting-edge science to: Tag and track wild tortoises across islands Restore and protect their nesting habitats
Reintroduce species that were lost
Your sign-up supports real fieldwork that helps giant tortoises bounce back, long-term.
Track your progress
Track all your kilometres in the mobile iOS or Android app. Log them manually or sync your favorite fitness tracker or smartwatch. Any activity counts! Yes, even things like yoga and weightlifting.
The in-app converter automatically turns activities into progress on your map.
*Currently, we support: Apple Watch & Health, Google Fit, Garmin, Fitbit, Adidas Running, Strava, Runkeeper, Map My Run, Map My Ride, and Map My Walk.
Help the environment
We will donate toward planting a tree or stopping 10 bottles from entering the ocean for every 20% of the challenge you complete.
There's no extra work or cost for you — just make sure you keep exercising!
By the end of the challenge, you will have planted 5 trees or have stopped 50 bottles from entering the ocean. Imagine what we can achieve as a community!
So far, we have planted over 7 million trees and stopped the equivalent of 14 million plastic bottles from reaching the ocean.
