Whether you're looking for a taste of the trails or want to go all in on the full thru-hike experience, there's a distance option for each challenge. Choose your route:
Short Mode – Perfect for beginners and walkers. Enjoy the trail’s best highlights. Long Mode – Go all in. Experience the full thru-hike trail.
What’s a virtual challenge? Think of it like this: it's a guided adventure that's actually fun, keeps you motivated to move, and showers you with sweet rewards along the way!
Track your progress
Track all your kilometres in the mobile iOS or Android app. Log them manually or sync your favorite fitness tracker or smartwatch. Any activity counts! Yes, even things like yoga and weightlifting.
The in-app converter automatically turns activities into progress on your map.

Help the environment
We will donate toward planting a tree or stopping 10 bottles from entering the ocean for every 20% of the challenge you complete.
There's no extra work or cost for you — just make sure you keep exercising!
By the end of the challenge, you will have planted 5 trees or have stopped 50 bottles from entering the ocean. Imagine what we can achieve as a community!
So far, we have planted over 7 million trees and stopped the equivalent of 14 million plastic bottles from reaching the ocean.
